It’s three weeks until summer! I thought this was a great article to read because it talks about being in PRESENT TIME when you are eating. Many of us eat too fast, eat on the run or eat while doing something else. This leads to poor food choices and extra calorie consumption. When eating your next meal, be in PRESENT TIME and enjoy the flavors of your food. It may help your waistline.
It’s 22 days until summer! Your health tip today is on weight loss and sleep. It’s important that you get an adequate amount of sleep each night so your body can repair and regenerate itself. This article also talks about a small study that was done showing that adequate sleep each night is a factor in less calorie consumption during the day. Check out the article and have a great day!
23 more days until summer! Your health tip today is about balancing your level of cleanliness. This article talks about germ exposure and how it decreases your chances of allergies. Interesting article. It made me think about the differences between the health of those of us growing up in the 70’s or earlier compared to the kids today. We were constantly outside, drinking from hoses, sharing food, climbing trees, and playing with dogs and cats. To my recollection, there were no bleach wipes or anti-bacterial sprays. We did have soap and water! I do not recall the use of inhalers or someone not being able to come out and play because of an allergy. Enjoy the article and have a great day!

This is your 40th day until summer health tip on how to check your posture and that of your family and friends. Most people just think of their posture from a vanity standpoint but your posture is much more than just your appearance. If your posture is poor, your nervous system (brain and spinal cord) have to work much harder to get you through your day. Your nervous system tells everything in your body what to do from your head to your toes, every second of the day. Check your posture. If it is off, come in and get checked for proper spinal alignment.
